Letters From Camp Magazine

Issue five of Letters From Camp Magazine delves into the profound and lasting impact of the camp experience, exploring the powerful connections forged between individuals and the experiences that shaped them. Inside, you'll find heartwarming stories of counselors who made a defining difference in their campers' lives, and, conversely, tales of campers who left indelible marks on their counselors. We also highlight the transformative generosity of donors whose significant contributions have ensured these cherished camps' continued success and impact.

In each narrative, a unique "legacy" emerges – sometimes personal, sometimes woven into the fabric of the experience, and often a blend of both.

I can say [BOLD GOLD camper-leaders] have a toolbox, backpack, and suitcase full of skill sets and assets to be successful in life,” said Eric Fotsch, the King Leadership Camp founder who merged with BOLD GOLD and currently serves on the YMCA of the North General Board as a member.
