Remembering Audrey

In the Fall 2024 Letters From Camp Magazine, we shared the special story of Audrey Johnson (Camp St. Croix staff member 1952-53). 

We received the news that Audrey passed away on March 30, 2025.

We loved sharing Audrey’s camp story and the power that camp relationships play in people’s lives. Even though it had been several decades since she was on staff at camp, when she spoke about her time at Camp St. Croix, her eyes lit up and she was filled with enthusiasm, vivid memories, and palpable joy. She proudly showed off her scrapbooks and mementos from camp.

She was the best example of camp spirit and she will be missed!
