Summer Power & Nature Power Program Updates
Registration Options
Summer will be here before we know it, and we're excited to be planning for another great summer of programming at the Y! We are making some updates to our child care registration options for summer 2025.
You will be able to choose from three registration options for Summer Power, Nature Power, and Summer Power Pre-K:
- 2-Day Tuesday/Thursday only
- 3-Day Monday/Wednesday/Friday only
- All 5 days Monday-Friday (by registering for both the 2-day and 3-day options)
These registration options will help us provide a more consistent experience for families and participants by knowing which days participants plan to attend each week.
Please note: If you register for all five days per week – both M/W/F and T/Th options - the total in your cart will reflect a higher price. When you are billed via EFT two weeks prior to your program, your amount will be correct and reflect the lower rate for attending five days. If you’d like to remove the auto EFT, please contact our Customer Service team after registration is complete.
Pricing Information
For summer 2025, we are able to offer a lower “per day” rate for registration options that include more days of care. Specific pricing will vary by location.
Each program registration will also include a non-refundable $50 administrative fee per site. This fee will help us plan for the appropriate number of participants and provide the best experience possible.
There is no change to our refund policy for summer 2025. A refund of eligible program fees is available if you cancel your registration no later than 11:59 p.m. CT on the Monday two weeks before your program’s start date.

Summer Program FAQ
We have upgraded our registration system! If you are unable to log in to your account, please ensure you have created a new customer account log in for the new system. Before you can complete program registration you need to create your new account log in. For successful Y Community Account and log in creation, please use the email address that you used for your account in our previous registration system. Click here for a how-to guide and video for creating your new account.
Please use the link sent to your email to complete your account setup within 24 hours. For security reasons, all links expire after this period. If the link expires, you’ll need to use the “Forgot Password” feature to complete your account setup.

Yes! It is required that you provide a payment method for future dues to complete registration. For support in doing this, please view our how-to videos for verifying and adding new payment methods.
We’re currently experiencing a delay with confirmation emails sending once registration is complete and are working to resolve this. Currently, you can expect to receive your emailed confirmation receipt within one business day. If your transaction payment went through, your registration is complete! At the end of the transaction, you will see an option to view and download your receipt. You can view all successfully completed enrollments by logging into your Community Account.
If you are placed on a waitlist and you receive notice that a spot has opened up, you will have 24 hours to respond to secure your spot before the spot will be given to the next participant on the waitlist.
Each transaction will have a $50 admin fee. Your email confirmation you receive once your transaction is complete will provide details on how to waive that fee for any future transactions.
When you reach the QUESTIONS section of registration, you will need to click the 'Common' hyperlink and 'Reg' hyperlink for each child and complete the required questions to proceed. For step-by-step guidance, watch our How to Register for Summer Programs video.
To cancel a week of programming, go to the 'Summary' page at the end of the registration process. Here’s how:
- Sign your contracts and click 'Next' to proceed to the 'Summary' page.
- On this page, you’ll see all the weeks you’ve selected.
- To cancel a specific week, click the small red 'x' next to that week. Do not click the trash icon—this will delete your entire cart for this site.
If you’ve been approved for financial assistance, you should have received an email with the code YMCAFA. Here’s how to apply it during registration:
- Click the blue cart icon after you have completed signing all contracts and before you select 'Pay Now'.
- Enter the code YMCAFA in the promo code field.
- Click 'Apply' to see the discounted rate reflected in your cart.
If you have not been approved for financial assistance, the code will not work.
